Terms Governing Platform Use

These general terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Motsepe Wealth platform. They describe the rights and responsibilities of you, the user, and the platform operator. Please read them before accessing the platform, opening an account or carrying out a transaction. Together, they form the legally binding framework between the parties.

By registering, logging in, using a feature or otherwise engaging with Motsepe Wealth, you acknowledge and accept these Terms of Use in full. Access is restricted to people aged 18 and above. Minors and individuals who lack legal capacity may not use the platform. If there is uncertainty about a user’s age, we may suspend, restrict or close the associated account.

Access to the service can be interrupted by technical problems, planned maintenance, software releases or outages, including those caused by volatile markets, exceptional server traffic or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Although we seek to provide dependable availability, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Features, algorithms, pricing and supported markets may be changed, introduced or discontinued at any time without giving rise to a claim against Motsepe Wealth.

The platform’s content and materials—including text, graphics, page designs, software, algorithms, trade marks, logos and AI-produced analysis—are protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual-property laws belonging to Motsepe Wealth or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish or commercially use these materials without our prior written permission. Unauthorised use may result in civil or criminal proceedings.

You must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information, including your identity, contact and payment details. Information that is false, misleading or incomplete may result in account restrictions, withdrawal limits or legal action. We process personal information in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable South African data-protection law, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), supported by appropriate security measures and clear procedures.

You alone are accountable for each investment or trading decision made through Motsepe Wealth, whether you place it yourself or it is produced by AI automation, and you accept the related risks. Motsepe Wealth provides technical tools and infrastructure only; it does not offer personalised financial advice, recommendations or guarantees of profit. Shares and cryptocurrencies may fluctuate significantly, and you may lose your entire investment. Past results do not indicate future performance. Only commit money you can afford to lose.

We may amend or add to these Terms periodically to reflect changes in legislation, technology or market conditions. In most cases, we will notify you at least 14 days before revised terms become effective, using email, platform notices or our website. Continued use after the effective date means that you accept the updated Terms. If a change is material, you may elect to close your account.

Our operating approach is built around security and transparency. We use current encryption practices, carry out regular reviews, keep client funds in segregated accounts and apply established KYC/AML controls to strengthen protection. We record activities and transactions in a clear, auditable way. Our aim is to deal with users fairly, transparently and responsibly, with your trust treated as an important priority.
